 London Night Life
London has a verity of Night-time hotspots which are a easy access across London, but the major concentration of them are in the West End. Soho since the early 1980s the area has undergone considerable transformation and is now a fashionable district of up-market restaurants. Soho is a common party place for alternative lifestyle, gay bars and clubs. Ladbroke Grove in the west and Old street in the east (newly opened party place) are the two most famous joints. For gastropubs (specializes in high-quality food a step above the more basic "pub grub") one can look for places like Camden and Angel in north London, Brixton and Clapham in south.
Legal drinking age is 18 and nearly all pubs require you to pay for an admission charge which goes high after sunset.

Bars
If one wants to try a traditional English bar, one can visit George Inn the last of the 17th century bars. Globe Theatre, The Anchor are other places one can visit. Nell Gwynne is a traditional styled and a small old fashioned pub. The most popular of the 17th century style joints are Lamb and Flag which have connecting floors and a great place outdoors for summer time.
If one is looking for an experience from the land of the rising sun one can head to Yo!Below, in the basement of Yo!Sushi, which has walls with Japanese cartoons, karaoke, self service beer dispensers and masseuses. If one is use to late nights then there are two great places Amber and Akbar.
A place for fashion oriented is The West Bar at Sketch. Point 101 which is known for its late nights, great music and a up market clientele. Old Compton street is a place for gay bars, G.A.Y Bar, The Edge and The Yard are men joints while Candy Bar is a women hangout. Notting Hill in the west also famous for its bars has great places like Portobello Gold and The Westboure.
East London has a bar with a difference, 180 meters above the ground is Vertigo known for its great views but only runs on working days as its in the business district. Old Street area has The Bricklayers and is knows as a regular visiting joint for artists.
If you like table football then a must visit is Brazilian-style Kick Bar.
Casinos
In the UK you are obliged to fill out an application form (with some type of ID) to become a member of a casino 24hrs before you will be allowed to enter. Gaming work from 2 pm to 4 am and are not licensed to provide entertainment
Clubs
Ministry of Sound (MoS), now MSHK Group, is the name of one of the largest dance music and lifestyle brands in the world and is based out of Elephant and Castle. Other clubs which attract crowds are Fabric, Pacha which are famous for underground music.
Notting Hill Arts Club, is a famous place for people interested in Latin nights. South of the river has a great places to visit too, The Fridge and Substation South (a famoust gay nightclub).
