 Shows in London

London is the one of the biggest cultural centers in Europe; London Shows are numerous. The cultural scene of London is always bustling with activity and every year London hosts countless theatrical shows, operas, musical concerts and shows. The theater scenario is active throughout the year; there are many theaters in London that stages musicals, operas, ballet and children's play. Presently the London theatre shows that are being staged are The 39 Steps, The Women in Black, The Alchemist, Chicago the Musical, Evita, Footloose the Musical, Les Miserables, The Lion King and many more.

London is also home to a number of musical concerts and shows. Every year a number of artists, musicians, bands, and singers of different genres of music like pop, rock, jazz, classical music perform in various venues in London. Amongst the musical shows, pop and rock shows and concerts are very popular amongst the youth of the city. The major venues for the pop and rock shows are Wembley Stadium, Wembley Arena, Apollo Hammersmith, Shepherd's Bush Empire, and Brixton Academy. There are many upcoming major rock and pop shows that will be held in London.

For example Beyoncé will be performing live at the Wembley Arena on Mon, 4th June 2007; Christina Aguilera will perform at the Wembley Arena from Wed 29th November 2006 to Thu, 30th November 2006; UFO will perform at Astoria from Wed, 29th November 2006 - Wed, 29th November 2006 and you can see Westlife perform at Wembley Arena from Sat, 31st March 2007 - Sun, 1st April 2007.

Besides the rock and pop shows, London also is home to countless Jazz and Classical Music shows. Some of the major venues for Jazz concerts are BeyoncéRonnie Scotts and Pizza Express Jazz Club and Royal Albert Hall, Wigmore Hall, Barbican Hall, Cadogan Hall are some of the venues for Classical Music concerts. Classical music concerts are also held at many churches and cathedrals. Besides these, London is also home to a number of free outdoor shows that you can witness in the parks and open spaces of London.
