April: Easter celebrations
Battersea Park parade host the main event with dance troupes performing Morris dances and women wearing Easter bonnets decorated with ribbons and flowers take part in the parade. Not to miss there always great food Hams, roast lamb, simnel cake, and Easter eggs.
May: Museums and Galleries Month
Museums and Galleries Month or simply called MGM is the greatest celebration of its kind in the world. Almost all museums and galleries participate in it and organized special exhibitions and events.
June: Trooping the Colour (Queen's Birthday Parade)
London hosts three parades by the name Trooping the Colour Parades. The first two act as rehearsals to the grand finale The Queen's Birthday Parade.
July: Children's Art Day
Children’s Art Day is a great celebration for children, young people, families and teachers to celebrate and develop skills in arts and drawing.
August: Notting Hill Carnival Children's Day
There is a parade in which many children's & family groups take part dressed in traditional Caribbean style and is lead by the Caribbean population.
September: Open House London
Open House is a celebration of London’s heritage where a number of building and monuments organize events and open there doors for free public tours. There are also lectures and educational projects organized for children.
October: Punch and Judy Festival in Covent Garden
It’s a festival of puppets revolving around the characters of Punch and his wife Judy. These Punch and Judy show attract great family audience.
November: Bonfire Night and The Lord Mayor's Show
Its one of the oldest event on London’s even calendar, and is a street parade with all the key elements of a carnival.
December: Christmas fun
There are a number for fairs events and exhibitions organized during the charismas holiday.
