Buckingham Palace is the place where the British Monarchy resides and is located in the City of Westminster. The building was built in Duke of Buckingham. It also serves as the administrative headquarters for the British monarchy. The British monarchy also holds dinners and other events in the honor of visiting dignitaries and royal guests at the palace. The English monarchy entertains more then 50,000 guest each year at the palace
The palace has a carpet area of 77,000 square meters and the largest room in the palace is the Ballroom. The Queen’s Gallery exhibits works of art from the Queens collection and was built in 1962. The place has gone through many changes and renovations and today its one of the most spectacular royal residences world wide. The palace garden is the largest private garden in the city of London and also has an artificial lake. The garden also plays as a hot for the queen’s garden parties.
The palace has a huge collection of paintings, statues and other forms of art. Most of the artworks is displayed in the State Rooms. Some of the artists whose works are on display are Rembrandt, van Dyck, Rubens and Vermeer.

The palace has influences from Roman, Indian and Chinese culture and some of the rooms draw inspiration for these cultures. |
